Frequently asked questions
Straightforward answers about how StatLingo works, what it costs, and how to get started.
General
StatLingo is a real-time clinical communication platform. It connects frontline staff and nurse stations through alerts, messaging, and emergency response workflows — running on Apple Watch, iPhone, and iPad.
Healthcare facilities that need real-time communication and incident response. Hospitals, psychiatric facilities, behavioral health centers, and senior living communities. Buyers are typically CNOs, directors of nursing, operations leaders, and IT administrators.
Three things. First, one-tap distress alerts from Apple Watch — Code Blue, Code Gray, panic button. Second, two-way messaging between floor staff and the nurse station. Third, a station dashboard that shows all active incidents, pending alerts, and team status in one place. Everything is logged automatically.
No. There's no infrastructure to install. We configure alert workflows, escalation chains, and the station dashboard for your facility. Most teams are live in 3–5 business days.
Platform & Devices
StatLingo runs on Apple Watch (wrist alerts and panic button), iPhone (floor staff communication and incident management), and iPad (nurse station dashboard with two-way coordination). No proprietary hardware required.
The Watch app gives every staff member a one-tap panic button and quick access to incident codes (Code Blue, Code Gray, Code Silver, etc.) directly from their wrist. Alerts are sent instantly to the nurse station and relevant team members with automatic escalation if not acknowledged.
The iPad-based station dashboard gives charge nurses and station staff a real-time view of all active incidents, pending alerts, and team status. It supports two-way communication with floor staff, incident dispatching, and a complete timeline of every action taken.
Yes. StatLingo is built with offline resilience for environments where connectivity is unreliable — hospital basements, stairwells, parking structures, and older facilities. Critical alerts queue locally and deliver as soon as connectivity resumes. Multi-device fallback ensures messages reach their destination.
StatLingo supports all standard hospital emergency codes including Code Blue (cardiac arrest), Code Red (fire), Code Gray (combative person), Code Silver (weapon/hostage), Code Green (elopement), and Code 100 (internal emergency). Custom codes can be configured per facility.
If an alert is not acknowledged within a configurable time window, StatLingo automatically escalates it — notifying the charge nurse, then the supervisor, then administration. Escalation chains are customizable per alert type and facility protocol.
Healthcare Use Cases
Psychiatric facilities face unique safety challenges — patient aggression, elopement risk, and the need for immediate backup. StatLingo gives every staff member a wrist-based panic button, instant Code Gray and Code Silver alerts, and real-time coordination between floor staff and the nurse station. No fumbling for a radio or running to find help.
Nurses trigger Code Blue from their wrist. The station dashboard coordinates rapid response. Floor staff and the station communicate in real time. Every alert, acknowledgement, and escalation is documented automatically.
Senior living communities use StatLingo for fall alerts, wellness checks, staff coordination across wings and floors, and emergency response. The Apple Watch panic button works for both resident-facing emergencies and staff safety. Station tablets give supervisors visibility across the entire community.
Yes. StatLingo supports multi-code emergency workflows with configurable response teams, automatic role-based notifications, real-time status tracking, and post-incident reporting. Every step is timestamped and auditable.
Compliance & Security
StatLingo is built with a HIPAA-aligned architecture. The platform minimizes PHI exposure by design — communication focuses on operational coordination (alerts, codes, staff assignments) rather than patient records. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. BAA (Business Associate Agreement) is available for enterprise customers.
Yes. Every alert, acknowledgement, escalation, dispatch, and message is logged with timestamps, user identification, and device information. Audit logs are exportable for incident review, compliance reporting, and accreditation documentation.
No. StatLingo does not sell, share, or transmit any data to third parties. No advertising networks, no external analytics providers. Your facility's communication data stays within your organization.
Yes. Business Associate Agreements are available for all healthcare customers. Contact our team at hello@statlingo.ai to initiate.
Pilot Program & Pricing
The StatLingo pilot is a 30-day paid deployment where we configure Comms for your facility — device setup, alert workflows, escalation chains, station dashboard, and team roles. Pilots include dedicated onboarding, admin dashboard access, and a 30-day impact report measuring response times, alert volumes, and staff adoption.
For our first 10 facilities, the pilot is completely free — discovery, configuration, training, and a 30-day impact report at no cost. After the Founding Facility Program closes, setup fees will apply. No obligation to subscribe after the pilot.
Pricing is per-user, per-month based on facility size and tier. Contact our team for a tailored quote. Every plan includes the Watch app, floor app, station dashboard, audit trail, and auto-escalation. Enterprise tiers add admin dashboards, custom workflows, and multi-facility management.
No. StatLingo runs on Apple Watch, iPhone, and iPad. If your staff already carry Apple devices, you're ready to deploy.
Deployment & Support
StatLingo can be deployed in days, not months. There is no infrastructure to install, no network hardware to configure, and no IT project to manage. Enterprise deployment with custom workflows, escalation chains, and admin setup typically takes 3-5 business days.
Yes. The admin dashboard lets facility administrators manage users, configure roles and departments, set up alert workflows and escalation chains, and monitor system adoption and response metrics across the organization.
