By downloading, installing, or using the StatLingo application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

StatLingo is a multilingual communication platform designed for frontline teams. The App provides:

  • Pre-verified phrase libraries in multiple languages
  • Text-to-speech pronunciation assistance
  • Context-aware phrase suggestions
  • Offline-first functionality

Important

StatLingo is NOT a professional interpreter service. It is a communication aid tool designed to supplement, not replace, professional interpretation services.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Use the App in accordance with all applicable laws and institutional policies
  • Not rely solely on StatLingo for critical communications requiring certified interpreters
  • Ensure appropriate use within your work environment
  • Not modify, reverse-engineer, or disassemble the App
  • Maintain device security and account credentials

4. Communication Disclaimer

  • Not a Replacement for Certified Interpreters: Many interactions require professional interpreters by law
  • Not Professional Advice: StatLingo does not provide medical, legal, or professional advice
  • Verification Required: Users should verify understanding with the people they serve

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including all content, features, and software, is the exclusive property of StatLingo, Inc. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

6. Subscription and Payment

Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing cycles are communicated at the time of purchase. Refunds are subject to app store policies.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StatLingo shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StatLingo from claims arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may terminate access if you breach these Terms. You may terminate use by uninstalling the App.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
